We are a group of volunteers that are committed and devote our time to saving as many Dalmatian as we can. Sometimes that is a relentless job, but we have had great success and a lot of happy dogs.
We do not run a shelter and all of our dogs are placed in foster homes. We have grown to include foster homes throughout the east coast. With our volunteers, we have been able to save countless Dals and help some of those that are medically challenged.
We are a 501c3 organization and all donations are tax deductable. We participate in Adopt A Thons throughout the area and take advantage of our local pet stores. We also participate in all the “doggie” events that are available.
We have education information and Dalmatian brochures are at every event we attend. We also have a volunteer base for training and behavioral problems. We try to counsel individuals that need help with their Dalmatians so they don’t end up in shelters. We believe that proper training, education and activity makes for a great Dal home.
We take owner surrenders on a case by case basis, but we can assist is finding a good home as long as you are willing to hold them. We highly suggest that you reconsider giving up your Dal. Turning your Dal into the shelter, could ultimately lead to certain death. If you must give up your pet and would would like our help in finding a placement, he/she MUST be altered, UTD on all shots and heartworm negative and on preventative. We do require that you send pictures of the Dal and a very accurate description for the website.
If you would like to get involved with Dalmatian rescue, please fill out our volunteer application from our volunteer page. It basically lets us get to know you a little better. It also lets us know how we can best use your talents. It can be submitted online and if you are in the area of an adoption event we would love to meet you.
